Tuition in Danish Language: Lessons in speaking Danish as a second language are available through the Danish Society. This is held in an informal setting and people are tutored at their own pace. I cater for classes as well as private lessons.


About the tutor: My name is Connie Kristensen. I am from Denmark. I have been providing Danish Lessons through the Danish Society for the last 7 years.


Naturally the Danish culture becomes part of the tuition and most of my students come to me because they are going to Denmark to visit their Danish partners’ family.

The younger students often come because they are going there as exchange students. One student came because he had chosen to sing Carl Nielsen for his Music exam at Auckland University. Others come just because they have an interest in Denmark and Danish.


I tailor my tuition to the student and the sessions are student directed. Having a lot of fun while learning is important.


Fee $ 35 per hour – group discount available.


I am also available for translation English to Danish and Danish to English.
